stomachache

    I have a serious stomachache these days and I feel painful all the day. It takes too long for me to see the doctor, so I take some medicines at home by myself. I am not sure if I can recover from this disease soon. I feel that health is the most important in the world now.

Summer Time

      We will have summer time on March. 10 this week. I forgot to change the time several times and missed some courses in the previous years. I don't like this change tomorrow, because I will lose one hour of my life. However, I will feel happy in winter time change that I can have one more hour. 

Spring

          I went to class this Friday from the bus stop to WMC classroom and I felt very comfortable about the weather. In the past several weeks, I felt too cold to walk outside, so I preferred to stay in the library. The weather that day makes me so happy, so I even do not want to go to the class(not I don't want to go to class). I think it is the weather that winter will end and spring is coming.

Test Review

     Every semester, I have several tests of different kinds of courses and I am trying to find a way to get a better review for each courses. Like this semester, I have midterms once for cmpt 300 and cmpt 371 and start reviewing very early before the reading break, but I still do not have enough time to finish reviewing. I read in details from the book for the beginning sections before I found that there was not quite enough time to read the left part.

Wine

          I seldom drank wine, because I can't get up the next day after drinking. Yesterday, I drank some wine and had a serious headache. This time, I didn't get up late for the reason that I can't fall in asleep the whole night. So next time, if I drink wine, I will drink a lot because insomnia is so painful with a headache.

Noise

         I move into new house several times in Burnaby and I wish to find a place with a nice environment. This semester, I move to an apartment next to our school and I think it is convenient to go to school. It is hard for me to fall in sleep because I can always hears footstep and music played by subwoofer. I want start my essay early but I feel very tired and do not want to study any more. I often ask myself :" Do I need to move to another quiet place?"

Spring Festival

        Today is our most important festival of my home country, so I phoned my relatives and greeted them. On this festival, all the relatives get together and have dinner together to celebrate it. I am the only person who goes abroad and always feel very lonely on that day.

Translink

          I took a translink bus to buy some staffs, I found some changes of the translink. I remembered that there are no stop name when a bus arrives at a bus loop, but now the orange screen will display the stop's name and some buses even have the voice message to pronounce the stop's name. I think the translink can be better in the future if it can think more about the passengers.

Drink

          I seldom drank the energy drink when I was tired after study, but my friends ask me to try some. They felt that the energy drink can make they to feel powerful and do not feel sleepy any more. However, I do not like to have a try because I think they may damage my body. I am still studying with them who drank the energy just now. I am going to fall asleep, how can I do?

Evening

Tonight is a dark night with heavy fog on the Burnaby mountain. I can hear the ship starts its trip from the harbour. I think this is the most  mysterious night I have met before and I really enjoy this kind of quiet night.

Operating System

I tried to use the two of the most popular computer operating systems which are Windows 7 and Linux in the  past a few semesters. I think Windows 7 got very successful improvement from Windows Vista. I remember that when I used Vista system, it makes me to feel angry and a blue screen death often happens to me and makes me to restart the computer. Sometimes when restarting does not work, I even need to restore it to an original state. Windows 7 does not have this problem and have a better user interface and faster speed than Vista. Linux is a also a convenient OS and it can use the terminal to do many operations. I don't like to use the command line user interface to operate a system because I can't remember these many commands and I sometimes spell words wrong and make the command invalid.

Taking picture

I like to take some photos each week, but I do not have a good camera. I do not have extra money to buy a professional camera, so my smart phone is my partner to take photos. I always choose early morning and late afternoon to take photos as light is very important. Even I am not very good at taking photos, it is still a very enjoyable thing for me to do it.

Essays

I did not take a writing course in the past one year. This semester, I take a upper level writing course called Cmpt 376w as one of my major requirements. I am not good at managing my time to write the essays, and I always start my work till the due date. It is a terrible habit and makes me not to have enough time to check the essay again for revision.

Cheers, Leon Messi

  I have been a fan of Messi for about 8 years. In my memory, the first time I watched his game is in the world cup of 2006 when he is still a young player with the similar age as mine. In that game, he plays as a substitution for Argentina and scores one goal in his limited show time. Now, he is awarded the FIFA Ballon d’Or the fourth time as the best player in the world of the last year. I feel very proud of him, and I will continue supporting him from now on.

Moving

           At the beginning of this semester, I moved to an apartment which is quite close to SFU Burnaby campus. It takes only 7 minutes to walk there, so I always start out 10 minutes before my class begins.In everyday life, I also only spend 5 or 6 minutes to get to the supermarket and the food court by walking. The location seems very convenient, but when the school and home combine into one, it makes me feel bored.
